Day 117: Darth Vader

Darth Vader is the central antagonist in George Lucas' original Star Wars trilogy and his final prequel, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

In the original trilogy, George Lucas depicts Darth Vader as a fearsome cyborg who acts as the supreme commander of the brutal Galactic Empire.

In the prequel trilogy, Lucas shows Vader as his former self, Anakin Skywalker, a slave boy who eventually becomes a Jedi Knight, and later, a hero in the Clone Wars.

Day 85: C-3PO

C-3PO is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe, who appears in both the original Star Wars films and the prequel trilogy. He is one of the four characters to appear in all six of the Star Wars feature films, and one of only two characters portrayed by the same actor in all six installments of the series.

C-3PO is a protocol droid designed to serve humans, and boasts that he is fluent "in over six million forms of communication." C-3PO is generally seen with his long-time counterpart, R2-D2.

Day 84: Stormtrooper

The Imperial Stormtroopers are fictional soldiers from George Lucas' Star Wars universe. Stormtroopers are the personal army of Emperor Palpatine and of his commanders, carrying out the will of their superiors without question.

Originally featured in the original Star Wars trilogy (Episodes IV, V, and VI) as the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire, Stormtroopers were retconned into "Clone Troopers", the fighting force of the Old Republic, in The Phantom Menace and its sequels.

Day 73: Yoda

Yoda is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe, who appears in all of the franchise's films except for Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Frank Oz provided Yoda's voice in each film and lent his skills as a puppeteer in the original trilogy and The Phantom Menace. Yoda first appears in the saga in The Empire Strikes Back as a Jedi Master, and trains Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Jedi. In the prequel trilogy, he serves as Grand Master of the Jedi Order.

Day 16: R2-D2

R2-D2 is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. R2 is one of the only four characters - the other being Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader), Obi-Wan Kenobi, and droid companion C-3PO - to appear in all six Star Wars films.

Day 8: Boba Fett

Boba Fett is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe. In the films, he is a bounty hunter hired by the Empire and Jabba the Hutt to track down and capture Han Solo and Chewbacca. He appears in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, The Star Wars Holiday Special and in the Special Edition of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
